Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo, also known as Ti-6246, is a high-performance α+β type titanium alloy containing 6% aluminium (Al), 2% tin (Sn), 4% zirconium (Zr), and 6% molybdenum (Mo).
Description
Ti-6246 titanium round bar, when properly heat-treated, achieves very high tensile and yield strengths while maintaining good toughness for applications requiring high stresses and dynamic loads. Due to its α+β phase structure, this alloy exhibits good mechanical property stability at medium to high temperatures and is suitable for high temperature service environments such as engine components.
