Gr3 Pure Titanium Wire

Description
Material composition:
- Main component: Titanium accounts for about 98%.
- Impurity components: Contains a small amount of other elements, such as iron (Fe) content usually does not exceed 0.30%, oxygen (O) content does not exceed 0.35%, carbon (C) content does not exceed 0.80%, nitrogen (N) content does not exceed 0.05%, hydrogen (H) content does not exceed 0.015%, other single residual element content does not exceed 0.10%, and the total residual element content does not exceed 0.40%.

Physical properties:
- Density: The density is relatively low, about 4.51g/cm³, which makes it advantageous in terms of weight and suitable for applications with strict weight requirements, such as the aerospace field.
- Melting point: The melting point is high, about 1660℃, and it has good high temperature resistance.
- Coefficient of thermal expansion: In the temperature range of 70 - 212°F (20 - 100°C), the coefficient of thermal expansion is about 4.78 x 10⁻⁶ in/in/°F (8.6 mm/m/°C), the coefficient of thermal expansion is relatively small, and the dimensional change is relatively small when the temperature changes.
- Thermal conductivity: At 70°F (21°C), the thermal conductivity is about 138 BTU-in/h-ft-°F (19.9 W/m-°K), and the thermal conductivity is relatively poor.
- Corrosion resistance: It has excellent corrosion resistance and can remain stable for a long time in a variety of chemical media. For example, it has good corrosion resistance in humid atmosphere, seawater and other environments, but its corrosion resistance to reducing oxygen and chromium salt media is poor.
Mechanical properties:
- Tensile strength: In the annealed state, the minimum tensile strength is 65 ksi (about 448 MPa), and the strength may be further increased after cold working or other treatments.
- Yield strength: The yield strength (0.2% deviation) is between 55-80 ksi (about 379-552 MPa).
- Elongation: The elongation is not less than 18%, with good plasticity and toughness, easy to process and form.
