Material composition:

• Main component: Titanium (Ti) accounts for the vast majority, usually above 99%.
• Impurity components: Iron (Fe) content ≤ 0.30%, carbon (C) content ≤ 0.10%, nitrogen (N) content ≤ 0.05%, hydrogen (H) content ≤ 0.015%, oxygen (O) content ≤ 0.20%. The presence of these impurity elements will have a certain impact on the performance of titanium wire, but their content is strictly controlled within a low range.

Titanium products with excellent performance

Physical properties:

• Density: about 4.51g/cm³, which is relatively low compared to metal materials such as steel, which makes titanium wire Gr4 have advantages in fields with high weight requirements such as aerospace.
• Melting point: about 1668℃, with a high melting point, it can maintain good stability in high temperature environments.
• Thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity is relatively low, about 15.24W/(m・K), so it has application value in some occasions that require insulation or heat preservation.
• Corrosion resistance: It has excellent corrosion resistance in humid atmosphere, seawater and other environments, and is particularly resistant to pitting, acid corrosion, and stress corrosion, but has poor corrosion resistance to reducing oxygen and chromium salt media 

Mechanical properties:

• Tensile strength: The tensile strength is relatively high, generally ≥550MPa. After cold working and other treatments, the tensile strength may be further improved.
• Yield strength: The yield strength (0.2% offset) is between 485MPa and 655MPa.
• Elongation: The elongation is ≥20%, with good plasticity and toughness, which is convenient for processing and forming.
• Hardness: The Brinell hardness is about 265, which has a certain hardness and can meet the material hardness requirements of many application scenarios.
