Copper tungsten rods have good scrub resistance, electrical conductivity and low thermal expansion, making them ideal for drilling and boring complex materials. They can be used in the production of electrical contacts and heat sinks. As a contact material, copper tungsten alloys are highly resistant to arc and weld formation.
