Ti-3Al-2.5V is a medium strength alloy with good weldability and cold fabricability for mildly reducing to mildly oxidizing media. Grade 9 Titanium 3al 2.5 v Advantages
Ti-3Al-2.5V, or half 6-4 offers great corrosion resistance in oxidizing, neutral and mildly reducing media. More specifically, this alloy resists oxidation up to 600°F (316°C). Titanium grade 9 exhibits good ductility and toughness, making it suitable for a variety of industrial uses. This alloy offers greater mechanical strength than Commercially pure titanium grades. Grade 9 titanium can be hot or cold formed using hydropress, power brake, stretch or drop hammer techniques.
