Molybdenum Hafnium Carbon Alloy
Molybdenum Hafnium Carbide (MHC) alloy is a particle-reinforced molybdenum alloy containing hafnium and carbon. The uniform distribution of carbon along the structure of the alloy gives it excellent heat and creep resistance at temperatures up to 1550°C (2822°F). This alloy is capable of performing under extreme mechanical and thermal loads.

Molybdenum Hafnium Carbide (MHC) alloys are particle-reinforced molybdenum alloys containing hafnium and carbon. Molybdenum has excellent creep resistance, low resistivity, high corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion. Compared to pure molybdenum, molybdenum-hafnium-carbon alloys have higher heat resistance, better creep resistance and higher recrystallization temperatures.
