Description
Molybdenum has become an indispensable metal coating material due to its high wear and abrasion resistance. Thin layers of sprayed molybdenum wire are used to manufacture automotive mechanical parts such as piston rings, synchronizer rings, and shift elements to improve the wear resistance of their surfaces.
Sprayed molybdenum wire is used as a sprayed molybdenum wire for automotive parts subject to wear, such as piston rings, transmission synchronizer parts, selector forks, mechanical parts such as bearings for maintenance purposes, etc. The surface coating for bearing shells and shafts is made without an intermediate molybdenum layer due to the lack of adhesion of the steel layer.

Molybdenum rod production: Molybdenum powder is isostatically pressed and then sintered at high temperature into molybdenum rods. 3. molybdenum coarse wire: molybdenum rods are rolled and processed at high temperature into 5-6mm coarse wire 4. molybdenum fine wire: 5-6mm coarse wire is stretched in one or more passes to produce molybdenum wires in the sizes required by the final customers.
