Niobium Oxide For Electronic Ceramics
Feb 29, 2024

Recently, niobium oxide has been increasingly used in electronic ceramics. In the past, niobium oxide was only used as an additive in barium titanate (BaTiO 3)-based ceramics, but nowadays niobium-containing chalcogenides are becoming more popular than titanate- and zirconate-based ceramics. Typical examples of such compounds are Pb 3MgN b 2O 9, Pb 2FeN bO 6 and Pb 3NiN b 2O 9.
Their common advantages are the low sintering temperature, the high dielectric constant and the adjustable temperature.
