Material properties

  • Good corrosion resistance: Titanium has strong corrosion resistance in many media. Gr1 seamless titanium pipe has excellent corrosion resistance in neutral and oxidizing media, most alkaline solutions, seawater and most organic acids, which makes it have unique advantages in applications in corrosive environments such as chemical industry and ocean.
  • Higher strength: It has high tensile strength and yield strength, and can withstand a certain load. At the same time, its strength is comparable to that of steel, but its density is much lower than that of steel, which means that under the same strength requirements, the weight of titanium tube is lighter, which is suitable for fields with strict weight requirements, such as aerospace.
  • Good processing performance: It has good plasticity and cold formability, and is easy to process into pipes of various shapes and sizes to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
  • Good welding performance: It can be connected by a variety of welding methods, and the welded joint has high strength and good sealing.
  • High temperature resistance: It can still maintain good mechanical properties and stability under high temperature environment, and is suitable for high temperature working conditions.

Production standards:

Usually produced according to international standards such as ASTM B861, B338 and ASME SB861, SB338. These standards have strict regulations on the chemical composition, dimensional tolerance, mechanical properties, surface quality, etc. of the pipe to ensure the quality and performance of the product. 

 

Specifications:

  • Outer diameter: generally ranging from a few millimeters to several hundred millimeters, the common outer diameter range is between 10mm and 200mm.
