Titanium Alloy Grade 11

Titanium Alloy Grade 11

Titanium, a highly sought-after metal, is renowned for the exceptional properties that make it a favorite in various industries. With its non-corrosive nature and robustness, titanium has gained widespread popularity. Among its notable grades is Titanium Grade 11, also known as Ti-11-0.15Mo. This grade of commercially pure titanium not only exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance but also thrives in even the harshest environments.

Description

Titanium Grade 11 has physical and mechanical properties similar to Grade 1. Due to the addition of palladium, it has enhanced corrosion resistance in crevices and reducing acid chloride environments. It has good ductility and cold formability, along with high impact toughness and excellent weldability.

Composed of 99.0% titanium and 0.15% molybdenum, Titanium Grade 11 showcases remarkable resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it an ideal choice for applications where durability is paramount. Its high thermal conductivity also allows for efficient heat transfer, while its impressive strength ensures reliability in demanding conditions. Moreover, the low density of Titanium Grade 11 adds to its appeal, offering lightweight solutions without compromising on performance.
