Grade 7 titanium alloy bar is composed of titanium, aluminium and other elements, with high strength, low density and good corrosion resistance, widely used in aerospace, chemical industry, ships and other fields.
Description
Grade 7 Titanium Round Bar has excellent corrosion resistance in oxidising media. It also exhibits considerable corrosion resistance in reducing media and is particularly suitable for improved crevice corrosion resistance in media with high chloride ion concentrations.Grade 7 industrial titanium rods contain 0.2% palladium. In 5% boiling sulphuric acid, the use of Grade 7 titanium alloy reduces the corrosion rate from 48.26 mm/a (industrially pure titanium) to 0.508 mm/a, an increase in corrosion resistance of about 95 times.
