Grade 23 titanium tubing (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) exhibits the following key performance characteristics:
-Chemical composition: In addition to the main titanium element, it contains 5.5% to 6.75% aluminum, 3.5% to 4.5% vanadium, and tightly controlled low levels of impurities such as carbon and nitrogen, which ensures the purity of the material.
-Mechanical properties: high tensile strength of 900 MPa to 1100 MPa, yield strength of about 820 MPa to 900 MPa, good plasticity, elongation ≥ 12%.
-Physical Properties: Low density (4.43 g/cm³), low thermal conductivity, and moderate coefficient of thermal expansion make Grade 23 titanium tubing an excellent performer in applications requiring lightweight, high-strength materials.
