Titanium Gr 12 is alloyed with good quality chemical ingredient molybdenum. The Gr 12 offers exceptional heat resistance and resistance to oxidizing circumstances as correlated with the other titanium grades. Furthermore, the grade can be cold and hot formed by using various forming methods that constitute the press brake forming and drop hammer method forming. Alloy exposes high corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance, pitting resistance, resistance to acid and preferred strength. Due to these properties, the alloy has been used in shell exchangers and the chemical manufacturing industry.

General properties of Gr 12 titanium pipe include excellent corrosion resistance, resistance to chloride pitting, good strength, excellent ductility, and weldability and strength.

These tests include mechanical property testing, destructive and non-destructive testing, PMI testing, IGC testing, pitting resistance testing, and hardness testing. Other tests include bend testing, longitudinal testing, flattening testing, flaring testing, and micro- and macro-testing.
