Gr5 and Gr23 are two types of titanium alloys commonly used to make titanium tubes.

grade 5 titanium tubing, also known as 6al 4v titanium tubing, is an alpha-beta titanium alloy that contains 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. It has excellent corrosion resistance, a high strength-to-weight ratio, and good weldability. Gr5 titanium tubes are commonly used in aerospace, medical, and industrial applications where high strength and corrosion resistance are required.

Gr23 titanium alloy, also known as Ti-6Al-4V ELI, is a medical-grade version of the Gr5 titanium alloy. It has the same chemical composition as Gr5 but with extra low interstitials (ELI) to improve its biocompatibility.
