Molybdenum Rhenium Alloy Foil
Molybdenum-Rhenium is manufactured in a standard alloy of 47.5% Rhenium, and serves a wide range of applications in electronics, furnace, joining, and aerospace industries. Precise alloying of the refractory metals Rhenium and Molybdenum adds both ductility and strength to suit customer specifications. It is a superconductive alloy with a noble surface chemistry and a relatively high transition temperature.
Description
Rhenium and molybdenum both belong to refractory metals and have good ductility and strength. Standard Molybdenum-Rhenium alloy contains 47.5% rhenium and serves many industries. The addition of 47.5 % or 41% of rhenium greatly improves its ductility, weldability, and formability. This alloy has high-temperature physical properties of rhenium and good mechanical properties of molybdenum. Its rolling deformation can reach 90% and can maintain good ductility even if the alloy is after high temperatures.

Tungsten has high tensile strength even at small diameters and is therefore widely used in thermocouples, electronics and lighting. Molybdenum (molybdenum) wire is more ductile and less dense than tungsten wire. It excels in high-temperature and high-pressure applications because it can withstand high temperatures without expanding or softening.
