Grade 12 titanium tubing is an alloy of titanium with molybdenum and nickel. Grade 12 titanium tubing receives an "Excellent" rating for its high-quality weldability. Grade 12 titanium tubing is a highly durable alloy with great strength at high temperatures. Grade 12 titanium seamless tubing features excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and oxidizing environments and offers better heat resistance than pure titanium. ASTM B861 titanium alloy Grade 12 seamless tubing is approved by the ASME Boiler Code for service at temperatures up to 600°F. Grade 12 titanium alloy tubing is similar to Grade 2 and Grade 3 titanium tubing, but Grade 12 titanium welded tubing contains 0.3% molybdenum and 0.8% nickel. Grade 12 (3.7105) condenser tubing and ASTM B861 titanium alloy Grade 12 welded tubing offer better heat resistance than pure titanium. CP Grade 12 titanium square tubing offers even higher heat resistance and is particularly suitable for tubular heat exchangers.
